Terms of Sale

All Gila monster sales are covered by the following terms:

NO SALES to minors.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for checking your local regulations to be certain that you can legally keep Gilas. I will not ship to states where the sale or possession of Gila monsters is prohibited.

SHIPMENT will be made via Delta air freight (unless other arrangements are made) and will need to be picked up at your nearest airport serviced by Delta. You should open and inspect the shipment before leaving the air cargo counter. Any claims to the airlines will require this. Shipping via Delta within the continental US is $150 including the cost of the venomous shipping crate. Shipping must be pre-paid.

INTERNATIONAL SALES will require CITES export permit and import permits (except shipments to Canada don’t require an import CITES permit). I will apply for the export CITES and after the permit is issued, I’ll send a copy to you. You will use this copy to apply for an import CITES permit with your authorities. It is your responsibility to check with your local authorities about your countries specific import requirements. You are responsible for all import duties. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your animals and must be paid before the CITES application can begin. It can take up to 3 months to get the US CITES export permit, but can be as quick as a few weeks. Payment is due in full prior scheduling shipment.

ALL SALES OF LIVE ANIMALS ARE FINAL. All animals are guaranteed to be healthy at the time of shipment. I don’t have control over the animals care after they leave my facility. It’s your responsibility to provide proper care after the animal leaves my care. Take advantage of the freely available resources I’ve provided on this site about proper husbandry. If you have any concerns about the health of your animal, you must contact me within 48 hours of picking up the shipment.
