All Gila monster sales are covered by the following terms:
NO SALES to minors.
A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of 25% of the total cost of the reserved animals is required to reserve hatchlings. Unless I am unable to provide the requested animals, this deposit is for the current year's hatchlings only. If I am unable to provide your animals, I will either refund your deposit in total or carry it over to the following year (whichever you prefer). A deposit is a commitment for a given number of animals. Reducing the number of animals after a deposit is placed will result in the forfeiture of the corresponding portion of your deposit.
BALANCE OF PAYMENT for reserved animals for domestic orders is due by November 31 of the hatch year, regardless of the ship date. If payment in full is not made my November 31, the deposit is forfeited. For orders outside of the U.S., an additional 25% is due on November 31 of the hatch year. The balance is due prior to shipment.
SHIPMENT will be made via Delta air freight (unless other arrangements are made) and will need to be picked up at your nearest airport serviced by Delta. The shipment will be insured for the total value of the animals. Shipping and insurance costs must be pre-paid for international orders. You are required to open and inspect the shipment before leaving the air cargo desk. Any insurance claims to the airlines will require this. A venomous box charge of $75 is required for each shipment (payable with your final payment).
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for checking your local regulations to be certain that you can legally keep Gilas.
PAYMENT of deposits can be by personal check or money order or wire transfer. Final payment must be made by money order or wire transfer. Any payments for international orders must be made by money order in US funds drawn on a US bank or by wire transfer.
MONTHLY PAYMENTS can be made if it is easier for you. The only requirement is that the balance be paid by November 31 of the hatch year.
